Penske Logistics Opens Distribution Center In Mexico


MEXICO CITY, Mexico: Penske Logistics has announced the opening of an intermodal and multi-client distribution center facility in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

With just 33,000 square feet currently occupied, the expansive 100,000-square-foot, 14-door cross-dock facility has the capacity to serve multiple clients simultaneously and currently serves the needs of a leading U.S.-based automotive manufacturer. Located along a major rail line, the facility can deliver highly efficient truck-to-rail or rail-to-truck product shipments.

Penske Logistics has extensive experience in supply chain management in Mexico, having established its presence there in 1996. Today, Penske employs approximately 400 associates at 10 locations and serves a variety of leading global manufacturers with lead logistics services, distribution center management, sequencing, and regional transportation management.
